Receivers Creation

Creating Receivers

Receivers can be created through the Receivers section of OpSuite, or through the Purchase Order or Transfer   Order screens.  Custom receivers can also be created outside of a Transfer or Purchase Order.

Click the Merchandising, and select Receivers, then select New. The New Receivers Screen will appear.

From here, you will select the order type to receive; Purchase Order, Transfer In, Transfer Out, or Custom Receiver.  The list of available orders will be determined by the Order Type selected.  For a Custom Receiver, you will select the location at which you are receiving the items.

Search the purchase orders or transfer orders, and select the orders you want to receive.  You may select more than one (1) of the same order type to receive at the same time.  Once selected, click Create New Receiver.

Review the information on the Receiver Header, updating any Shipping & Fees from the order.

Next, confirm the items on the receiver against what was actually received.  You can manually enter each quantity received, or select Receive All.  If items not included on the original order are received, you can add the items to the receiver by clicking Add Item, or entering the SKU/Quantity and clicking Quick Add.

As quantities are received, the Total Quantity Remaining will update with any quantity not received.

Once you have entered all quantities received, click Save.  At this point, you can choose to Commit the Receiver, which will commit the quantities entered, and update the Quantity on Hand at the receiving location.  You will be asked to confirm that you want to commit the quantities entered, and if you want to close the associated order.

To receive an order from either a Purchase or Transfer Order, the order must have been placed.  Search for the order from the respected Purchase or Transfer Order lookup, and select Edit.  You will see at the bottom of the order information that the button Receive Order is now enabled.  You will be asked to confirm you want to create a receiver for the order.

A receiver will be created and you are able to enter the quantity received for each item under the Receiver Item Details, or select Receive All.  Review the information in the Receiver Header before committing the Receiver.

A custom receiver is used when you receive a shipment of items without a purchase or transfer order.  To create a custom receiver, select New under Receivers.  For the Order Type to Receive, select Custom Receiver, then select the location where you are receiving the items.  Finally, click Create New Receiver.

Next, you will add the items you received.  You can do this manually adding through the Add Item option, or you can enter the sku/scan barcode, enter the quantity received, and click Quick Add.  Once all items you received have been added, click Save.

When complete, click the Commit button at the top of the page within the Receiver Information section.  This will update the quantity on hand for the location selected.
