Label Design

Label Design

OpSuite allows you to create custom labels using a variety of label sizes and types.  Once designed, you can assign those   labels to items, and print a large number of labels for multiple items at once.  Labels can be found under the Admin   section of OpSuite.

Creating a Label Design

To create a new label, click the Add button at the top left of the lookup table.  First you will select the label size and then give it a name or description, so you can easily identify the label in other sections.

There are thirteen (13) standard label sizes in OpSuite.
  • 1.25' x 1" (6 by 10 on a page)
  • 1.25" x 1.25" continuous roll
  • 1.25" x 1" continuous roll
  • 1.25" x 2" (6 by 5 on a page)
  • 1.75" x 0.5" (Avery Template 5167)
  • 2" x 1" continuous roll
  • 2.2" x 0.5" continuous roll/butterfly shaped
  • 2.25" x 0.5" continuous roll
  • 2.25" x 1.25" continuous roll
  • 2.25" x 1" continuous roll
  • 2.625" x 1" (Avery Template 5160)
  • 3" x 1" continuous roll
  • 4" x 1.33" (Avery Template 5162)

Once your label size has been selected and named, various options will appear to design your label layout.  As you make changes the label image will update to reflect your selections.

Options include:

  • Barcode/Sku - The barcode used to scan will be printed on the label.  Sku or barcode number can be used.
  • Display Barcode Text - This displays the barcode or sku number under the barcode.
  • Company Name - The company name is displayed above the item location description
  • Item Location Description - The item description for the location where the labels are being printed.
  • Item Location Price - The regular price of the item at the location where the labels are being printed.
    • Custom Title Display - Label the regular price, such as Regular or Price.
    • Strike Through - This will put a line through the price, indicating that another price will be used.
  • MSRP - Manufacturer Suggested Retail Price
    • Custom Title Display - Label the MSRP price, such as Suggested.
    • Strike Through - This will put a line through the price, indicating that another price will be used.
  • Item Location Sale Price - The sale price of the item at the location where the labels are being printed.
    • Custom Title Display - Label the sale price, such as SALE.
    • Strike Through - This will put a line through the price, indicating that another price will be used.

Once your label has been designed, hit SAVE.  If you want to set the label as the default for all items, go back to the lookup page.

Search for your label, and on the far left side, click on the checkmark.  This will make the label the default for label printing.
